@sonofotho = Sounds good, your always welcome!

@kjc = Awesome!

I'd like to get at least 4-5 players lined up, who else is interested?

Well I am not really in any other games, lots of free time...sure why not...

What are my options...anything odd or unusual?

PS
Hmm that tomb robbing specialist sounds inviting...I am thinking a middle eastern looking guy?

:D COOL! Most likely a cleric-elf or half elf. Or maybe a dwarf. Maybe a fighter-cleric. Depends on what's needed.

Dang. All these cool games. If you've got room for one more, I'd be happy to hop in. Maybe a thief, or a fighter? I'd lean toward a fighter though.

Oh, and in the spirit of disclosure, I do own the module too, but haven't read or printed it yet, as I hadn't had enough time. I have no problem keeping it unviewed either.

Looks like we may have the following crew:

bloodaxe
sumo
kjc
atomic ray
badadams

That should do it, let me contact a moderator to setup a thread. From there I can post house rules and other fun stuff. If you want to rolling up a character now you can do so here and move it later. Standard 4d6 drop the lowest die. You can trade 2 for 1 on attribute points. If you waiting for the tomb robber class I will try to post that here later tonight.

Atomic Ray...

You really have a knack for choosing the right photo(s)!! *this photo and photos from your Paranormal game come to mind.*

I LOVE this guy, ever since I saw him in Duce Bigalow - Male Gigalow!! "Women... pay me... to give them... pleasure." and "Hey fishyfishyfishies!!" Wasn't he also in the Mummy; isn't that where this photo is from? I loved him in that too.

I do not own this module/pdf, and I do not know any other threads playing it (I don't venture off to other RPG websites - my home is pretty much here - except for Bartertown, but that's a trading website - no "games" are played on the actual site).

From what everyone is saying... it's a real "meat-grinder" on the players?? I am prepared to accept many, many deaths! :?

Tomb Robber

Requirements:
Prime requisite:
Hit dice: d4
Max level: None

The Tomb Robber is a sub-class of the Thief that is specialized and robbing tombs, digging up graves and generally looking for valuables where something is likely to go bump. Like the original class they have access to the d4 and d6 weapons. They have no bonus to backstab a target but they do gain the ability to dig at twice the normal human rate. Grave or ditch digging are common paths to this career hence the digging skill. Tomb robbers do gain the thieves pick locks, find/remove traps, move silent, climb walls, hide in shadows and hear noise skills. In addition they gain appraise and magic sense. Appraise allows a robber to gauge the value of something by taking a look at it. This skill takes one round, a d6 is rolled and the table is consulted. If the item is magical in nature only the non-magical value of the item can be obtained. Magic sense allows a tomb robber to find if an item is magical in nature or not. This skill tales 1 round, a d6 is rolled and the table is consulted. Nothing about the nature of the magic is revealed doing this other than the fact that the item is magical or not.

Tomb robbers retain the same experience and hit dice progression as normal thieves. They also retain the additional thief skills at level 4, 9 and 10.

I'll try to get a better chart out for the tomb robber. Hard to format.

@Sumo: Death is likely. I'm thinking re-roll, but am up to other opinions.
