Any chance you would move the game over here? Not a deal breaker either way, just simplifies my life a little.
@Atomic Ray : Most interested in playing a human/human like with psi.
No, I cannot move the game over here. There's already a ton of stuff on the OD&D forums and they graciously granted me one of my own for the game; it would not be very polite to ditch the site.
We can generate you PC on this thread or on the "Martian Clone-Vats" thread on the OD&D forum:
http://odd74.proboards.com/index.cgi?bo ... 161&page=2When you're finished your character should look something like these and be placed on that thread:
http://odd74.proboards.com/index.cgi?bo ... hread=7193This text provides information about the planet were the game will start. Your PC can come from anywhere:
http://odd74.proboards.com/index.cgi?bo ... hread=7167And here's the game protocol for once we get started:
http://odd74.proboards.com/index.cgi?bo ... hread=7206So first you should take a gander at the HE chargen rules. Start by rolling your PCs ability scores. The method is 3d6 in order but you get to re-roll any die with a value of "1" until you get a 2 or more, so the minimum stat will be 6. We are on a honor system here so you don't have to roll on any specific dice generator, use whatever method you prefer.
Next come race. As you want a human/human-like the available options are:
HumanN'lüss (or N'lyss) -
http://ixians.blogspot.pt/2011/01/nlyss.html (on the rules PDF but that article has some more info about them)
Sand Man of Canopus 3 -
http://ixians.blogspot.pt/2011/05/sand- ... pus-3.htmlThere are also
Renyu (uplifted dog-men canines like the Vargr of Treveller RPG). I haven't finished or posted their rules yet but if you want you can play one.
Once ability scores and race are selected, get back to us.
