Dwarves +1 hit/damage vs. Goblins, Orcs, Trolls, Ogres,Giants
Halflings- "luck" you can try to press your luck- sometimes it works- sometimes not- once per adventure.
Clerics- different abilities/spells depending on Diety
Fighters +1 hit with one specialized weapon at 2nd level
Magic-users- spell research, familiars, limited detect magic (can sometimes detect the presence of other powerful magic or spellcasters)
Illusionists- +2 saves vs. illusions
Thieves- specialty- can choose a +10% to one skill- but for a -10% to another
